Psychology Services
At Advanced Neuropsychology and Psychology Services, we provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to pinpoint one’s individual treatment needs. With your permission, this includes coordinating care with your primary care provider or other mental health providers to ensure your symptoms are not attributable to an underlying general medical condition.
Following this, your provider will collaboratively develop an individualized treatment plan that includes your treatment goals, evidence-based psychotherapy options, and the inclusion of various outcome measures. Our treatment approach is compassionate, individualized, and integrates established clinical practice guidelines with innovative treatments. With your collaboration and active engagement, we will help you understand your symptoms, build effective coping strategies, and improve daily functioning and quality of life.

Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation
A psychiatric diagnostic evaluation identifies your treatment goals, current symptoms (onset and course over time), their functional impact, your medical and psychiatric history, your psychosocial history, and is ultimately used to identify the diagnosis and resultant treatment recommendations. This may include:
- A clinical interview (60 minutes)
- Standardized questionnaires
- Collaborative discussion of findings and recommendations
- In some circumstances, psychological testing may be recommended to assist with differential diagnoses
Psychotherapy Services
We offer empirically based psychotherapy (EBP) for a wide range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. Treatment integrates proven research results, clinician expertise, and is specifically tailored to each patient’s needs, values, and goals. The provision of EBP is scientifically grounded, has been validated in clinical practice, is time-limited, and often guided by the use of various outcome measures to monitor and guide treatment.
Examples of common diagnostic domains for which EBPs have been shown to be effective include:
- Depressive Disorders
- Anxiety Disorders
- Bipolar and Related Disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders
- Trauma and Stressor-Related Disorders
- Eating Disorders
- Sleep Disturbances
- Behavioral and emotional concerns related to medical conditions
