Practice Fees
This practice is committed to providing high-quality, accessible psychological and neuropsychological services. Fees are structured to reflect the time, expertise, and individualized care involved, while maintaining transparency and affordability.

Insurance Coverage
ADVNPS is currently enrolled as a Medicare Part B provider and accepts Medicare Part B for covered services. For Medicare beneficiaries, covered services are billed directly to Medicare, and any patient responsibility will depend on applicable deductibles, coinsurance, and other Medicare requirements.
We are also currently in the process of credentialing with several additional insurance carriers, including TriWest, Humana, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and Cigna. Credentialing with these insurance carriers is currently pending, and we anticipate additional information in the coming months. Prospective patients should contact our office to verify current insurance participation before scheduling services.
Payment and Patient Responsibility
- For insurance-covered services, patients are responsible for any applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, or other amounts required under their individual insurance plan.
- Accepted forms of payment include credit card, debit card, and other approved methods.
- For fee-for-service services, payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Fee-for-Service and Out-of-Network Services
Fee-for-service neuropsychological services are available to patients whose insurance carrier we do not currently accept or with whom our credentialing process is still pending. Our current fee-for-service rate is $250 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.
For fee-for-service or out-of-network services, ADVNPS can provide a superbill upon request that patients may submit to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on the patient’s individual insurance plan and out-of-network benefits.
A typical dementia or memory evaluation requires approximately 8–10 hours of professional time and generally costs approximately $2,000–$2,500 when provided on a fee-for-service basis. Professional time may include the initial clinical interview, review of relevant medical records, neuropsychological testing, scoring, interpretation and integration of findings, feedback regarding results, and preparation of the written report.
The actual amount of time required may vary depending upon the patient’s clinical history, referral question, complexity of the evaluation, and the amount of testing and records review required. More complex evaluations may require additional professional time.
Evaluation services may include:
• Initial clinical interview and Neurobehavioral Status Examination
• Review of relevant medical records and selection of appropriate tests
• Neuropsychological test administration and scoring
• Interpretation and integration of findings
• Feedback regarding results and recommendations
• Written report with diagnostic impressions and recommendations
Psychotherapy Services
Psychotherapy services are individualized to each patient’s needs and may be provided on a short-term or longer-term basis depending upon the patient’s treatment goals and clinical needs.
For patients using insurance, applicable copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, and other patient responsibility will be determined by the patient’s individual insurance plan. Fee-for-service psychotherapy may also be available when insurance coverage is not applicable or when ADVNPS is not yet an in-network provider with the patient’s insurance carrier. Fees will be discussed with patients in advance of beginning services.
